Soreen makes a Splash in Stanbury

Posted on: 29th January 2010

Following on from our previous update – the annual Soreen Stanbury Splash Fell Race took place on Sunday 24th January, where 300 runners from juniors to seniors, braved very wet conditions underfoot in the annual 7 mile race.

Known as the Soreen malt loaf run, it was without question that Soreen made an appearance on the day, whether at the start line, the finish line, or in the free goodie bags – even some of the junior runners decided to get into the Soreen spirit and dress as malt loaves for the occasion!

The day was a resounding success with Ian Holmes winning this event consecutively since 1996(he must really love his Soreen Malt Loaf).
