The Hornets ‘Get Stuck In’

Halton Farnworth Hornets ARLFC, are a Cheshire based amateur rugby league club operating from the rugby town of Widnes.
The "Hornets" as they are affectionately known, have been in existence since 1975 and are one of the largest amateur rugby league clubs in existence boasting 11 live squads ranging from toddlers (U6's) to Masters (over 35's).
It is no surprise that many professional players have come through the Hornets ranks over the years, including current Super League & Warrington Wolves players Richie Myler & Gareth O'Brien.
The Hornets U9's squad (Which Soreen proudly support and Sponsor), where first formed in 2009 following the clubs annual summer school camp for toddlers and have gone on to great success.
The team are unbeaten so far in their 2012 campaign and only suffered two close defeats during the whole of the 2011 season.
HFH ARLFC Club Chairman Brian Tobin said "We are delighted that such a well known brand like Soreen would support our club's U9's, our club has been around now for nearly 40 years & the support from team and club sponsors is key not only for our clubs existence but for the sport of Rugby League at both grass roots and professional level.
We would like to thank Soreen for their support in what we hope will be a long association with the club and the sport of Rugby League"
