4 days, 400 miles and mountains of malt loaf!

Posted on: 18th May 2010

Bright and early on Thursday 27th May 2010, a valiant group of 50 cyclists will depart from central Bristol, bound for Bordeaux in the South of France. More than 400 miles over four days – all to raise money for local Bristol charity PROPS, enabling them to promote opportunities for those with special needs, developing education, leisure and vocational skills in the community.

Powered by Soreen, the Pedal for Props bikers will ride 100 miles on the first day, taking them to Portsmouth docks in time to catch an overnight ferry to St Malo. From there it’s three days hard cycling through the French countryside with overnight stops in Nantes and La Rochelle, finishing in Bordeaux on the evening of Sunday 30th May for a well-deserved rest and of course a slice of Soreen malt loaf!
