Preheat oven to 190c/375f/gas 5. To make the sauce, put all of the ingredients except the cream into a saucepan, and heat until the sugar has dissolved. Then turn up the heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Pour in the cream, stir and leave to cool. Place the separated slices of the Soreen Sliced Fruity Malt Loaf in a small deep baking dish and pour the toffee sauce over it. Place in the oven for 15 minutes and serve hot with ice cream.
