Tesco Express cycle4good ride-Hull

“Our aim was to find a fun, engaging way of supporting our convenience range in Tesco Express, adding value to the shopping experience for the store’s customers and promoting a healthy lifestyle to the community through cycling”

Chris and a local cycling club cycled between two newly opened Tesco Express stores to promote to the local community the health benefits of cycling. At each store shoppers could meet Chris, have their face painted, listen to music by Manchester musician Mike Braye and have the chance to win a Raleigh chopper bike.

Two cycling machines stood at each store to encourage shoppers to take part in the Soreen cycle4good cycling challenge. Each kilo rode on the bikes Soreen donated £2 to Hull Royal infirmary childrens ward. £500 was raised so thank you to all those that took part.
